Marketing The Sale - What Can You Do?
We are so excited that The One Week Boutique has been growing quickly since our first sale a few years ago. This sale will certainly be our biggest yet, and we have many exciting new elements that we hope will contribute to your bottom line.
The best way to ensure that everyone sells as much as possible is for us to all work together to promote the sale.
More shoppers = More items sold = More $$$ for our consignors
Current Marketing Plans
To draw shoppers to the sale, we are employing the following marketing techniques:
- Printing and distributing full color flyers and business cards
- Promoting the website on many local community sites, including Tally Moms, Craigs List, Google Groups, Community Calendars, and more
- Dropping off flyers at lots of local preschools and daycare centers
- Advertising the week of the sale in the Democrat classified (garage sale section)
- Listing in the Calendar section of the Tallahassee Democrat
- Emailing to our large mailing list before and during the sale
- Putting signs out on major roadways during the sale
- Hanging banners inside and outside our Mall location
- Putting signs throughout the mall letting all mall patrons know the sale is in progress
- Co-operative marketing with our sponsors
How You Can Help
Share Ideas
If you have ideas of websites, bulletin boards, or other marketing outlets that we have not yet discovered, we would love to add them to our plan. Please submit your suggestions through our contact form. Also, feel free to link to our website as often as you wish on your Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, or other social network site.
Distribute Flyers
We would be happy to mail you some of our beautiful color flyers if you would like to distribute them at your school, church, playgroup, job, or elsewhere. Again, please contact us and let us know how many you would like. Please include your mailing address.
Also, a black and white version of the flyer is available on our website for download and you can print or email it as often as you wish.
Tell your friends
Let all of your friends know about the sale, and encourage them to join our mailing list. We will keep them up to date on our sales, which will benefit you with higher sales, and them with great deals!
